Ramada Grand Forks

OK for what I paid but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again.

Overall a pleasant stay. Hallways were dirty, but the room was clean.

This hotel was very disappointing for being a Ramada. The comfort controls in room were hard to control, with the room being extremely humid from pool. Personally think the super 8 would have been a better choice, same quality for half the price. ...read more

Can't expect too much for a two star or for the rate, but the rooms at this hotel need re-furbishing. My first impression was that the hotel was likely very nice 25 to 30 years ago, but looks dated now. The wallpaper was peeling in places and the walls and carpet were dirty. The beds and linens were OK. The hotel is located close to an Interstate off ramp so depending on which room one is in, it can be VERY noisy when the trucks are using their engine retarder brakes (which they shouldn't be doing in an urban area anyways). ...read more

My bathroom was dirty, coffee maker in room had hair and hair comb in reservoir, drinking glasses contain cleaning agent and hotel coffee was cold.

Motel is in much need of attention. One bed in room looked as if it had not been made.
Non smoking room smelled of smoke. Foyer and hall smelled of smoke.

The hotel needed updated, the stairs were dirty, the carpet looked worn and dirty. They put the sheet on top of a down comforter which I think is disgusting because I know they don't wash the comforter every time someone leaves. We stripped the comforter off and used just the sheet. Our room was on 2nd floor and faced the inside toward the swimming pool. The sound from the pool came in through the air conditioner and people were still in the pool at 2 am. I was so glad to leave that hotel and move to a quieter and cleaner one.
